We spent a sun-soaked afternoon down at the Willowstone festival in Killyleagh last weekend, where we bumped into, amongst others, members from Ten Gallon Hat & The Big Salute drinking in the sun and playin bluesy.
What with the 4th July holiday fast approaching – wouldn’t it be appropriate to kick back with a bit of old time roots & blues, done proper. After all we taught them Yanks everything they know.

The Ten Gallons are usually 5 members strong – but today’s session was a reduced set up, with only Kris Telfords and Eamon Lynch from the band still functioning after a storming stage set. They’re also gigging extensively around Northern Ireland at the moment – you’ll catch at this year’s Glasgowbury Festival on 25 July too. Happy trials..!
